Redefining Health: Biggest in the Room
Sometimes I wonder about my purpose. I start to listen to society's ideals. I am so greatful that God reminded me that being a single mom is my purpose. To be His servant in that is my calling. So when I just focus on His calling for me, I am less stressed. He takes care of the rest :0)

Yes we can
When society says " No you can't " God says "Yes you can". Who are we going to belive? :).
**Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.- Ephesians 4:20.
**For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.- Ephesians 2
**The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you" -Psalm 32:

motivation
Today I was feeling really tired, but I had to go to the grocery store. I hate the grocery store! So I decided I was talk myself into it. It worked I told myself you can do this, you can do this- like I was running a race and it worked.
Here are 2 goals for this week:
- pick some scriptures that talk to your situation ( I use google: example= scriptures for fear etc.)
- meditate on the 'fear' scripture when you are afraid. Say it over and over again, the Word of God is alive and powerful it will calm you and give you strength.

Single mothering
Being a single mom is exhausting, we don't have much time, and we feel alone sometimes. I'll keep my post short and hopefully give other mamas a place to share or ask for prayer..
I'm starting to really understand the importance of keeping relationship going with other women, especially learning about The One who made us and has a beautiful plan for our lives.
What has God talked to you about this week
Me? It has been about rest and obedience

"Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart"
(Psalm 37:4).
At age 33 Chris sensed the Lord had marriage in her future, but the right man
hadn't come along.
Yes, she could've dated non-Christian men. But that would've been a very
dangerous path. Her friend had taken that road and an unwed pregnancy was the
result.
Even though she didn't know what God was doing, she set her sights on God's
choice and remained faithful to Him. She continued to study His Word and pray.
Now after 20 years of marriage, she thanks God for the husband He provided.
They're both on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ.
Remember, dear one, God has someone for you if it is His will. But while you're
single, continue to walk in God's footsteps and "delight in the Lord with ALL
your heart!"

Thirsting for identity
I am continuing to learn that to grow in my relationship with Christ means that my identity and hope come from Him alone. Not from hopes of what circumstances I dream will come my way, or hopes in how others will come through for me, but hoping in Christ and His love for me. The startling truth I’m realizing in this journey is that in order to be truly filled by Christ, I have to admit the disappointments I’ve encountered.
Disappointments and heartaches that are given to God free me to look to Him alone for my fulfillment. This can be scary because it means admitting to myself that others have let me down—that my husband can’t fulfill my every need, that my parents won’t always be there for me in the way I expect them to be. It’s giving other people permission not to be my living water, and asking Christ to step into those shoes instead. -by Casey Manes for radiant mag
